The temperature was rising both on and off the course for the finals of WAKE DANS’ RUE, in Victoriaville last Friday. Standing on top of the overall ranking after 4 stops, Yan Thibault had no room for mistakes, as hungry Benjamin Leclair and Alex Savoie were right in his rearview mirror. It was one crazy battle as Thibault, Savoie and Leclair all made it to the finals along with Victoriaville local own Nic Marcoux. Thibault manage to stay on top and claimed his 3rd 2012 WDR stop, while Benjamin Leclair took second. Alex Savoie had a hard time in the finals and was swept off the podium, Nic Marcoux claimed third.
Kelsey Chiappa dominated once again, while WDR veterans Camelia Barriere and Marie-Line Ouellet took second and third, respectively.
Yan Thibault and Kelsey Chiappa were crowned 2012 WAKE DANS’ RUE champions.
