The Toronto International Boat Show kicks off this weekend showcasing the newest wake boats, wakeboards, wakeskates and wakesurfers. North America’s largest indoor boat expo, the Show also features several of the world’s top wakeboarders performing in an indoor wake park pool exhibition.

Wake boats on display include Nautique (Pride Marine Group); Malibu (Gordon Bay Marine, Town & Country Marine); Mastercraft (Buckeye Marine, Maple City Marine, Muskoka Boat Gallery);  Supra (The Cove Muskoka); Tige (Port Sandfield Marine, Old Mill Marine); Moomba (Muskoka Lakes Marine); Axis (Gordon Bay Marine, Town & Country Marine); Centurion (Walkers Point Marine); and Svfara.

Wake retailers include Boardsports, Cottage Toys and Endless Surf.

Riders performing in the straightline indoor wake park (“Winter Wake Fest”) include:
January 10-11
Raph Derome, Nick Dorsey, Christian Primrose, Daniel Powers, Shaun Murray, Dary Znebel, Mickey Henry, Drew Austin and Erika Langman
January 12-16
Christian Primrose, Dary Znebel, Mickey Henry, Drew Austin

January 17-18

Wake Park performances take place at 1:00pm and 4:30pm on the weekends; 5:30pm Monday thru Wednesday; and 7:00pm Thursday and Friday.

There is also free wakeboard riding with instruction in the pool available to the public daily following every pro wake park performance. Instruction includes wakeboard, drysuit and lifevest.

The Winter Wake Fest is sponsored by Boarder Pass, System 2.0, Rockstar, Fox, Liquid Force, CWB, Humanoid, Soft Tub, and WOW.

The Toronto International Boat Show runs January 10-18 at the Direct Energy Centre, Exhibition Place. Saturdays 10am-7pm; Sundays 10am-6pm; Monday-Wednesday 11am-8pm; Thursday 11am-9pm.
