At the age of 23, Quebec’s finest, Olivier Derome has just signed a contract with Ronix Wakeboards to join their pro team. Olivier will join an already stacked team including wakeboard legends Parks Bonifay, Danny Harf and Canada’s own Chad Sharpe.

“I've been riding Ronix boards since they started in
’07, the concepts and ideas behind the whole team and family made me
want to be apart of that" says Olivier. "They started with a big bang
in the industry and will continue to make their mark as the years
follow. Their team is killer and so are their products. I know Ronix is
still young but their experience is unequalled. I feel right at home
and want to keep growing with them.  My goals for this coming season is
to keep doing well on Tour and to make as many finals as possible, to
keep slayshing the Projects rails and to film and shoot as much as
possible. To travel and keep having fun while spending the most time on
the water possible.”

Ronix founder Paul
O'Brien comments on the addition of Olivier to the Ronix team: “I have
been really fortunate to have the team I have always wanted. Since
December of 2005 while working out of a barn up at Radar Lake I always
intended on having a different style of team. A group of riders that
had their own unique niche to the sport. Whether they won a bunch of
contests or not, I just wanted to work with riders that had a vision
for where they would like to see their sport go. Olivier is a perfect
fit. He is arguably the best on rails right now, and is carving his own
path off the wake for sure. I look forward to working with Olivier many
years to come.”
