This year the Sisterhood Sessions took 12 girls to new levels with a 6-week evening program, every Thursday night at the Ranch Wakepark. Billabong, Vz and Kustom steped it up with tons of giveaways and prizes for the girls who landed new tricks. On top of the giveaways each girl brought home a big new bag of tricks.
We saw beginner girls get up riding for the first time, to hitting their first rails and even hitting the Kickers. But really, with Coaches Leslie Sparkes, Erika Langman and Tiffany Tsuyuki how could they go wrong?? "In all my years of coaching I have never seen girls progress this quick," says Leslie Sparks, organizer. "The backyard system proved to be an amazing tool helping these girls hit all new heights."
On the last night the ladies brought out a 'ranch' sized theme dressing up as cowboys and Indians hitting the water in costume. Every girl rode amazing and it was hard to pick the best overall. Sisterhood Sessions would like to thank everyone who helped make this program such a great success. Thanks to everyone at Billabong, VZ and kustom for the sick gear and support, Jono Boysen and all the guys at the Ranch for helping the girls hit the water every Thursday and the Coaches Erika Langman and Tiffany Tsuyuki. Can't wait for bigger and better Sessions next year!
