Orlando, Fla. — Wakeboard fans will now have the opportunity to experience the King of Wake from the most-exhilarating seat in the house, as a passenger aboard the contest towboat. Series organizer, World Sport & Marketing, announced today that for the first time, fans will have the opportunity to be part of the action by purchasing a passenger seat aboard the official contest towboat during the semifinal and finals rounds of action at each King of Wake event during the upcoming 2011 season.
“There’s not a bad spot on shore to watch the contest, but there is a best seat, and it’s now available to the public for purchase,” said Sean Dishman of World Sport & Marketing. “The boat is a front-row seat to all the action on water that only a handful of people will ever get to experience.”
Passenger seats are exclusive to Pro Men and Jr. Pro Men semifinals, as well as Pro Men, Jr. Pro Men and Pro Women finals. Only one seat aboard the towboat for each of the five rounds will be available for purchase at each event. Prices for the passenger seats range from as low as $200 to $500, depending on the round and the division.
